United States Department of Agriculture Washington, DC Vertran provided survey, evaluation and design services for the installation of one (1) new service elevator, two (2) escalators and the renovation of seventeen (17) elevators and two (2) escalators. We provided construction documents and drawings and continue to provide construction administration and management services.
Capitol View Washington, DC Vertran’s involvement included the design of five machine room less (MRL) elevators and two hydraulic elevators in this LEED Gold certified building in the central business district of Washington. Smithsonian Institute Washington, DC Provided survey and review of multiple locations and associated mechanical spaces. Provided equipment condition assessment, evaluation and report for the development of facility design standards for the installation, modernization and maintenance of elevators and escalators.
Fannie Mae Facilities Washington Metropolitan Area Provided survey and review of seven buildings with a total of 36 elevators and associated mechanical spaces. Provided initial conditions evaluation, due diligence report and modernization recommendations for the elevators. Prepared a report of our findings and documentation of potential budgets, scope of work, code violations, etc.
